“Bloom in the Natural Way” is the name given to a range of textile creations made in Kerala, south-west India by local women.

The initiative was started by “Yoga, a daily life experience”, which is a Franco-Indian association based on sharing and love. Its head office is in La Rochelle (France) and its main objective is to help the poorest, especially women in difficult situations, by creating new, “fair trade” jobs.

The different items are created and designed by Sofie Debiève, a French artist, who gives her talent and knowledge to help a group of Indian women regain confidence and discover the joys of life again.

The pieces are made of high quality cotton and silk in a stunning combination of colours. Indian silky materials and French flowery cotton fabrics are used to create unique, highly individual works.

All the different items are available for purchase on this site, or they can be seen in India in the travel “boutique” created by the association, “Travellers Paradise”, or at the association’s French head office.
